Storm Center is the leading web and mobile map-based outage communications software used by North America’s largest utilities.
Storm Center pioneered the idea of communicating power outage information to the public using Bing Maps and continues to be the innovation leader for map-based outage communications.
Storm Center detects when users are accessing the site on a mobile device and automatically displays content that is mobile friendly using HTML5 technology. Quick access to outage information anytime anywhere reduces calls to the call center and provides customers and the media with actionable information at their fingertips.
Scalability needs are met on demand with an optional cloud-based deployment, freeing up your budget for things other than hardware and IT management.

Tabular summary information gives an overview of the outage situation that is valuable for communications with the media, emergency response, and customers at large. A comprehensive summary allows your company to provide a single source of information about real time operational conditions, saving time and building confidence in your systems and processes. Area name, number of customers affected, and estimated restoration times for each area are displayed.
Estimated restoration times are automatically processed from the outage management systems, and can be overridden within the Storm Center administration console for severe situations where the data from the outage management system may not be available or ready for public use.
Integration of live radar, satellite, and lightning strike imagery alongside power outage locations allows you to communicate with customers while helping them see the bigger picture around outage causes.
